Jeff is, as always good fun. But that's where it ends and I'm hardly surprised given the creative teams behind these impossibly overcompensating "chaotic" and expensive shows. Looking at other IMDb reviews it seems that others have reached the same conclusion, as many people are utterly bored with well over ten years of British television being fully captured by diversity initiatives, particularly the hiring of over-promoted box ticking directors and producers who are clearly out of their depth. So many of these productions share consistently similar qualities, the tone, visuals it all seems to be formed in some sort of depressing vaccum of identity and gender trumping believability and quality. Make it garish, make it loud, replace humour with sass and swearing. It's all so utterly boring, and whilst Kaos can occasionally be pleasing to the eyes with some nice interior dressing, and some good performances from Goldblum, Cathy Tyson and the guy who plays Orpheus, it lacks in everything else.

In addition to all below, the guy butcher a kitten whit a knife in the last episode!!! I mean what the actual hell?!?! Nope ! , *Kaos* was a rough ride. I went in expecting some cool reimagining of Greek mythology, but what I got was a slow, boring, and confusing mess. Seriously, if you're not some kind of Greek mythology expert, good luck keeping up with this one. Right from the jump, the show drags. It's like they thought stretching out every single scene would make it more intense, but nope-it just made me want to fast-forward through half of it. The pacing is so slow that I found myself losing interest almost immediately. I was just waiting for something, *anything* to actually happen, but it never really did. And then there's the plot-or should I say *plots*? There are way too many characters and storylines going on here. I mean, sure, Greek mythology is full of epic stories and tons of gods, but this show just crams them all in with no real direction. You get introduced to a bunch of people with complicated names, and before you can figure out who's who, they're already off doing something else that's equally confusing. By episode three, the show just throws a curveball and shifts gears completely, introducing new characters and stories that feel like they came out of nowhere. It's like the writers just decided to start a whole new show halfway through. Talk about disorienting. Honestly, if you don't have a degree in Greek mythology or haven't been obsessed with it for years, this show is going to make your head spin. There's zero effort to explain who these people are or why they matter. The show seems to assume you already know everything, which, let's be real, most people don't. So, instead of being sucked into the story, I was just left scratching my head, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. The worst part? It didn't even feel like the confusion was leading anywhere interesting. The story just kind of meanders around, getting lost in its own weirdness. There's no clear direction, no payoff-just a bunch of random scenes that don't really add up to much. It's like they tried to be deep and mysterious but ended up being a total mess instead. In the end, *Kaos* feels like it was made for a very specific audience-people who are super into Greek mythology and can appreciate all the little details without needing any context. But for the rest of us, it's just a frustrating watch. It's slow, confusing, and tries way too hard to be something it's not. If you're not already obsessed with mythology, you'll probably end up feeling as lost and annoyed as I did.

What's with the Grandad music? Dire Straits? Abba? Then your first episode is taken up with: 1. Showpiece CGI front and centre, check 2. Long multiple characters introduction sequence, check 3. Semi-Cockney voiceover with 'helpful' crash captions, check - I'd never have guessed that the late middle-aged woman in the late middle-aged squillionaire's garden was his wife, would you? 4. Poor people depicted as mentally ill; nobody else has money problems, check. 5. Stunt casting of a Volvo salesman, check For a show billing itself as 'modern' KAOS feels incredibly dated. I suppose 'modern' is a coded way of saying it's got LGBT characters. None of this matters because KAOS has no plot, unlike the majority of Greek myths. And on it goes, introducing character after character without worrying about whether it matters how they relate to the whole thing - that's going to be the big reveal, you see. Don't worry, it'll all come together. In the meantime, enjoy being bludgeoned with references to ancient mythology, because it hasn't got anything else. It's a SOAP. A shiny, frothy CGI son-et-lumiere designed to sell you stuff. The stuff in question being a Netflix subscription. Money For Nothing, indeed.

Hollywood and America has an issue with dealing with the fact that the rest of the globe is not California. I see a series About greek gods and mythical figures being in Greece , in the island of Crete and Mt. Olympus and i barely see 4 in 10 characters being close to Mediterranean in appearance. Americans i say it with no negativity but not everything is about you. Stop messing with other cultures. Is it do difficult to hire Greek, Italians and Spanish actors for a demographic based on the area ? I mean sure Jeff Goldblum is always a treat and some characters are good but it's once again the typical modern audience scripts.

I've only watched one episode but it was great, a comedy with Jeff Goldblum as a god, what's not to like? I think people try hard these days not to enjoy things, they seem to go into shows expecting to dislike it so they can get mad online and rage about budgets or compare it to their favourite show which must be superior. Some of the reviews on here act like an employee of Netflix came to their house, forced them to watch KAOS clockwork orange style while being fed wasps. It's just a casual comedy with a fun premise, it's time to take a breath, relax and just try to enjoy things or you'll likely end up miserable.
